Player Recruitment 2025
Glasgow Girls & Women FC are now taking names for their 2025 YPL & Regional squads. All the 2025 squads will train & play at the clubs own facility within Budhill Park which is presently under construction with a completion date of end of November 2024 and training to start 2nd week in December if not sooner.

14s & 18s reach Scottish Challenge Cup Finals
Glasgow GWFC 14s & 18s have both reached their respective Scottish Challenge Cup Finals after Semi-Finals wins –
14s Glasgow GWFC-5, Hamilton Access-1
18s Glasgow GWFC-2, Inverness Caledonian Thistle-1
Both Finals will be held at Stenhousmuir FCs Ochilview Stadium on 3/4 November

16s & 18s win “Scottish Challenge Cups”
What a day yesterday for the Glasgow Girls FC Academy 16s & 18s when both sides lifted their respective Scottish Yourh Challenge Cups at Ochilview Stadium home of Stenhousemuir FC
UNDER 18s 
First to play were our 18s, who defeated last seasons 16s winners 4-3 in an exciting match that went the distance with both sides taking the lead during the game, but it was a Bailey Cooper’s winner 4 minutes into injury times that secured the win for GGFC, even after the goal both sides had chances.

Our Academy 16s kicked off at 4pm under the Ochilview lights and again both sides had chances but it was Dara Ositelu who opened the scoring with a low angled shot at the near side post to give us a 1-0 lead
The score remained the same until Isla Leahy made it 2-0 with great perseverance to claim her cup final goal

Cara Henderson Wins SWPL “Player of the Month”
Cara Henderson was voted as Player of the Month as her side won all three of their games in October.
The mifielder played a key role for her side, scoring in their victories over Queen’s Park and Stirling University and also troubling Boroughmuir Thistle in their 3-2 away win.
Speaking from Glasgow Women’s home at Budhill Park, Henderson said: “I’m really pleased to have won this award, especially over such tough competition. I was delighted just to be nominated but this is extra special.
“It’s amazing to be playing a part in the teams’ success. I think a lot of people underestimated us coming into the new season but we’re top of the league for a reason. We want to stay there. If we can maintain our current form, there’s no reason why we can’t.
