On Wednesday 9th September Chairman Jim Strathdee & Captain Lauren Coleman attended the The Women’s Fund For Scotland “Grant Making Showcase” evening held in the lecture theatre of “The Royal Collage of Surgeons” in Edinburgh.
The club presented a power point on Glasgow Girls FC and how we used the £10,000 the club were awarded at the Grant Funding Showcase 2 years ago where the 200 audience voted GGFC the winners of the top prize.
Both jim & Lauren spoke of how far the club has come since being awarded the £10,000 and our Gambia trip in November 2015, This was greatly received and we were also discussing both the club & Gambia after the event when we meet the audience.
