Glasgow Girls FC are taking part in the August contest to win a £1000 in the MARS Play contest. The club or organisation with the most votes at the end of August will win £1000 with one group per week winning £300. The initiative is part of the clubs fundraising drive to raise £16,000 to visit Gambia to raise the profile of Girls & Women’s football in the country. The club will coach during the day in local schools & clubs and in the evening play the local side and at the end of the week they will play The Gambian National Women’s Team
