Glasgow Girls reached the final of the Skem tournament but were beaten 4-3 on penalties after a goaless game and extra time.
The girls played tournament favourites and holders "Blackpool FC Ladies" in the semi-final and won 1-0 with a Shannon Sharkey low shot 2 minuites from time. In the final Glasgow played Lambert. This was a great acheivment as the girls had never played 9 a-side and had to adapt to a new system and new rules.
Glasgow's Ali Meffin was voted player of the tournament

The reason for the U.S.A Flags a face paints was we were in Liverpool city centre on the day of the opening 2010 world cup game England v U.S.A. which we all watched later in the hotel, the game ended 1-1.
