Phase-1

Glasgow Girls FC started the process to build our own facility in 2012 after we approached Glasgow Life about taking over and improving an unused grass football pitch in our community area, Glasgow Life agreed and we then started the search for funding options. Building work started on January 7th 2013 after we received funding from Glasgow Life, Glasgow City Council, Scottish Football Association & Sport Scotland but the main contribution and help came from “The Scottish Football Partnership” who provided 2 x changing containers and one storage container, GGFC then purchased with club funds 1 x canteen with kitchen container, referees changing container and a 30 foot storage container.  The total cost of the project to date is approximately £100,000
